Auctionimage border 2px solid #b8d6b6. This vintage leather wrapped and brass, three pull spyglass looks to be 19th century and nautical.
It measures 5.25 when closed and 13.25 when open. I have researched the item and it is missing the cap, it would be on the cap that it would be marked france. The spyglass completely disassembles, every piece unscrews (5 main pieces, 3 optics and 3 more adjustable slides), the precision is remarkable, there is even a small piece that slides to protect the eyepiece. Condition is very good, typical shrinkage to the leather due to age, but the brass is in excellent shape and the optics are also very good with no scrathces that i can see.
